Candidates up for this year’s midterm elections have been working around the clock to reach their party base and beyond to win their respective seats.
The Spectator P.M. Podcast hosts Madelynn Gondy, Ellie Gardey Holmes, and Lyrah Margo talk through key races that they’ve been monitoring and how they will be pivotal in deciding the direction of the country. Ellie discusses Iowa’s Senate race between Ashley Hinson and Josh Turek, emphasizing Hinson’s “Iowa First” stance. Madelynn talks about Kansas’ Senate race between candidates Roger Marshall and Adam Hamilton, and the contention that a historically red seat could potentially turn blue. Lyrah highlights California’s gubernatorial race between Xavier Becerra and Steve Hilton, and how the seemingly silent race could portend bigger political implications in the future. Tune in to hear their discussion!
